The controller UI got dark mode in v6 but cloud portal pages (login, global view, MSP dashboard) are still light-only. Working in a NOC at night, the white background is rough. Please follow the system preference like the app does.
Now that the controller has site-level health scores (6.1), a small iOS/Android widget showing health + active alerts for pinned sites would be perfect. Open the app straight into the site when tapped.
Since upgrading to Controller v6, opening Dashboard > Topology on our campus site (~230 devices) takes 20-30 seconds and occasionally the browser tab freezes. v5 rendered the same site in a few seconds. Chrome 126, software controller on Ubuntu 22.04.
We manage ~60 retail sites. Every site has the same guest Wi-Fi schedule (open 08:00-22:00). Today the schedule must be recreated per site. A global template (like config profiles) that sites can subscribe to would save hours.
WireGuard support in 6.2 is great, but behind CGNAT we need a custom PersistentKeepalive (the default is too long and the tunnel drops). An MTU override per tunnel would also help with PPPoE WANs.
6.2 added rogue DHCP server detection with email alerts. Email is easy to miss — the app already does push for device offline events, so a push channel for rogue DHCP (and other security alerts) feels natural.
An official metrics endpoint (Prometheus format, or a Zabbix template) exposing per-site client counts, WAN throughput, device CPU/memory and alert counts would let us fold Omada into our existing monitoring. The web API exists but an exporter would make it turnkey.
In Global View I can see clients across all sites, but there is no way to export them. We need a CSV export (MAC, IP, site, SSID/port, vendor, last seen) for asset audits. Per-site export exists, doing it 40 times is painful.
